Sensitive Tofu Theatre

Laurent Mallet was born next to paris and started his theater life in the age of 15. 
He graduated from University of Paris III : Sorbonne Nouvelle
and got the degree of theater study . He worked many theater companies for example: “GRAT” with a famous French director Jean Louis Hourdin, a tour show in Europe and Rassia with a French theater company, Rugissement de la libellule etc.
After years of theater he got lost and changed his life as an musicians : bassist, guitarist and even singer. 

In 2013 he met the clown master Philipe GAULIER and study in his school in France. In the school Laurent discovered his clown sprite and started to create his own clown character, LULU the clown. 
He created a clown company Plague of Idiots , started their world tour of their first show Plague of Idiots.

They showed in many festivals such as The Western Australian Circus Festival « Lunar Circus » ,Perth fringe, Adelaide fringe festival , The fringe festival in Edinburgh, and got a great success, and his character Lulu the clown was getting known by the festival field 

 

2014 he had a tour with The Sensitive Tofu Theatre , and performed in the bouffon Cabaret " Teatime for Dictators"

Since 2015, Laurent started to explore the possibility of his clown. He became a regular performer in a London comedy theater, Comedy room ,with his solo pieces and created a new solo clown show, “LULU” and got a great success in The wardrobe theater in Bristol and the Vault Festival in London.
